Wedding Celebration at Kansas Winery

In Bucyrus, Kansas you’ll find Bourgmont Winery – a tasting room and venue in South Johnson County.
I had taken Katherine and Andrew’s engagement photos here a year prior to their wedding celebration, and we immediately hit it off! Sharing wine and taking photos in the vineyards at @bourgmont_winery all while creating relationships with my clients?! What a dream!!
Set on a breathtaking vineyard, where their wine is locally planed and sourced, this winery has been home to many wedding ceremonies. When I arrived I was blown away at the size of the house which is located within walking distance of the ceremony and reception location. From start to finish this wedding was epically beautiful! The house was exquisite, and large enough to fit all of the family and wedding guests for the entire weekend. The primary suites allowed for the bride and her bridesmaids, along with the mothers to get ready together.
Katherine and Andrew had a beautiful ceremony and special vows that complimented each other perfectly. Plus I got to learn more about Jewish wedding traditions, and I was too excited for the breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony.
The property allows for endless options for photography – the vineyards, beautiful fencing, a pond and string lights over an outside dancefloor, all in addition to the reception location.
I cannot wait until I am able to photograph at Bourgmont again!
