What I swear was the hottest day in July, and probably the hottest of the summer, nothing set back the radiating love these two have for each other. I met the groom, wedding party and close family on the hill of Liberty Memorial and waited for the stunning bride, Brittany, to arrive for their reveal. You see, Brittany has so much passion and love for Kansas City, and this location we were at provides one of the best skyline views around! Brittany runs KC Local Events and is always spreading love and information about the best things to do in our wonderful city. She shares her passion for this with her now-husband, John, so it only seemed perfect to capture their first looks with the city that brought them together in the background.
After their perfect balloon reveal, we headed out on the town for some photos with the family and wedding party. Brittany’s dad brought out his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air for family photos, and a few for the bride and groom to pose with. Through the heat we stuck it out and had a blast in the alley by The Cottage Rose for some fun wedding party and couples photos.
The ceremony was held inside The Martin Event Space and the party continued with dancing, outside bags (boards handmade right here in KC by 816 Cornhole) and a sparkler exit to end the most PERFECT day! Congratulations, John & Brittany. <3
